Core HR systems have long been considered a back-end, turnkey process, with little added value. Enhancements and advancements, however, are providing a higher degree of functionality, and a wider range of solutions. These, in turn, leverage existing data, reduce the duplication of effort, and allow HCM practitioners a greater degree of strategic functionality. "Best-in-Class companies are recognizing the benefit of a superior HR system implementation sooner than other organizations," said Allison Stamm, Human Capital Management Research Analyst, Aberdeen. "Increased productivity, streamlined operations, and lower rates of error collectively provide a significant time savings, higher levels of performance and a much greater degree of satisfaction among users throughout the organization." Only 9% of Best-in-Class companies report being very or somewhat dissatisfied with their HR Systems, compared with 37% of all respondents. Best-in-Class companies are also significantly more likely to rank their performance as “excellent” among ten critical HR systems functions. |
